The B.S. (Hons) Degree Program in Physics:

The B.S. (Hons) degree program in Physics department, Faculty of Science, University of Dhaka is a 4-year program consisting of four academic sessions, each having duration of 12 calendar months

Definition of a credit:

The credit is defined as follows:

For theoretical courses, 15 class lectures = 1 credit
Each class is of 50 minutes duration.
For Lab courses, 30 hour lab work = 1 credit
(Existing / previous full unit course is equivalent to 4 credits.)
