Program Description
M.Sc. in Robotics and Mechatronics Engineering
Session: 2019-20
There are three semesters in the M.Sc program, Semester-1 and 3 (January-June session) and Semester 2 (July-December Session). A student must complete 36 credit hours to achieve the M.Sc degree.
However, there are two groups in the M.Sc program:
a) Thesis group: students of this group require completing 18 credit of theory course work (6 courses) and a thesis of 18 credits.
b) Project group: students of this group require to complete 30 credit of theory course work (Some lab courses could be incorporated) along with a 6 credit project work.
The framework of the semester system:
Admission: Students will be admitted to the department as per university rules.
Duration: 1.5 years.
Total Number of Semesters: 3 (2 Semesters per year)
Class : 15 weeks (3 class hours per week for each course)
Preparation Leave (PL) : 02 weeks
Examination : 03 weeks
Total Credits in 3 semesters (1.5 years) : 36
